Kitsuno is a prince of the Fire Sector court. His father the king favoured him over his brothers and sisters, and so he was spoiled since birth. He grew up in the palace and is accustomed to the warm climate of the South. He ran away from home at the age of 9.

Kitsuno has pride and ambition matching his royal upbringing. He hates being outdone or being looked down upon. Any task he chooses to do, he will carry out with scrupulous dedication. Kitsuno is openly rude and critical when others don't live up to his high standards. He also loses his temper easily, often quarreling with others when Shin is not around. Kitsuno is fiercely loyal and protective of those close to him.

Kitsuno is adept in both physical combat and magic use. From his Fire Sector bloodline, he inherited the ability to create and manipulate fire. He was also trained in the Royal Court to use a variety of weapons. His weapon of choice is a chain, which he uses to direct his flames. His chain is usually linked through the hilt of a dagger or Shin's Pudao. Kitsuno's magic control suffers when he loses his temper; he often unintentionally sets his surroundings on fire when enraged. Kitsuno fights with a win-at-all-costs attitude, readily using his sharp canines to bite if possible. He is a naturally fast learner, often picking up new skills after meeting a new opponent.
